  • Fun Factory Flexi Felix by Dr. Ruthie

  • Note: I really enjoy Dr. Ruthie’s reviews and also think she is absolutely adorable. I think this one is wonderful, especially as an anal review since she talks a lot about uses of anal beads as well as safety and the toy itself. There is also a written component to this review if you click on the link above.

HNT

This HNT I use as an opportunity to lay bare a part of my life that is very dear to me, King's daughter, The Princess (7).

Here she is trying to wave me away from her icecream, afraid I would steal some, which I did :)

Latex

OMG OMG OMG...I so badly want this outfit.
I've never wanted anything latex so badly before.

I have had one previous experience with latex, when I was 18 and a boy I dated once bought me a latex pencil skirt from a sex shop. I had no idea what I was doing, how to care for it and how to get it on, and I wasn't smart enough at that point on where to find this information. Now as I look into myself for the things that I really enjoy and desire, latex is floating to the surface of my thoughts again. Just the idea of wearing this outfit out at a club and bouncing around, letting my kitty side have a play, then coming home and jumping into a shower and playing with the water before I remove the second skin and become myself again - mmm, yummy!

Babysitting

The last couple of days King and I have been babysitting a house for a family member, and with that their two cats. They are crazy fun, but mostly a little crazy. They've already destroyed the headphones for King's iPhone, and while I'm worried that she (I'm sure it was the little one) will get sick from the wire, it's mostly annoying.

In happy news, King got his second best ever score at cricket yesterday, and I'm proud as can be of him. He was totally chuffed and I suggested going back to the club house to celebrate properly as he hadn't been in a while.
Long story...sorta long..., I was favoured with much affection last night for the idea because he had a blast! He even spoke briefly to 'Roo', who I was sure he was going to punch out next time he ran into him (totally justified and for another post).

I'm very proud and happy for my wonderful King, and we're going to work together to get his fitness up over the winter break.
Also, now he needs a new cricket bat - and I think that's a fair reward for the conquering hero.

First HNT - be kind :)

I have decided to participate in Half-Nekkid Thursday, which should help me with my self confidence issues, as well as get me to exercise a bit more, so that I can post a special Christmas 2010 HNT :)

Bonus

King took me to one of our local pubs tonight - the back up for when our main local is closed. It's really just a pokie venue, but its open 24/7 I think, which means when he gets home late and craves a beer, we have somewhere to go. Invariably we end up putting some money into the machines, even though we cannot really afford too much, but tonight we came out on top! I ended up with a spare $20 which I resisted putting back into the machine and held tightly til I could come home and stash it into my Knot Twisted Massage Therapy Fund jar - doubled my money already, what a good start!

Knot Twisted Massage Therapy

I wanted to document my work and study goals for 2010 here.

I need to save $400 to put myself through a short massage course which is 20 hours in total.
Once I have finished that course, I can start my Certificate VI in Massage Therapy Practice. That will start in June this year, full time for 6 months, which is actually 3 days a week.
Once I have done that I can advertise myself as a qualified massage therapist.

I would love to do some massage work at play events, sort of a Post-Play Massage Therapy service, 10 minutes per person - I wonder if that would be of interest to people. If not I can always get some work at the football and cricket clubs working with the boys which wouldn't be as enjoyable, but i'd still be doing what I want to.

The Knot Twisted Massage Therapy Fund: $20 - well, it's a start!

Taking Stock

It's about that time of year. Parties are finished, Christmas and New Years is over and we've all had a chance to settle down into 2010. So I decided it was time I take stock, look at what I have carried from 2009 into the new year and see what I should have left behind.

For introductory purposes, the following people will be frequently referred to:
King - my husband and Master
The Princess - King's daughter
Geekette - King's sister

The facts as they stand are:

* I am presently fighting a virus which has left me with a bad cough which means that I am getting next to no sleep and also keeping King awake.
* I have no job at the moment.
* King and I were both individually in debt when we met - we are both still there, which is near impossible to juggle on one income.
* There is unrest at King's workplace at the moment and we are not entirely sure what is happening - perhaps nothing, perhaps redundency, but it'll happen before March.
* I seem to have a small, but growing addiction to World of Warcraft - yes I am a geek.
* Unemployed and plays WoW - what's next? Ah yes, I am overweight. Not crazy health scare overweight, but a bit fat. I could seriously stand to loose 25-30kgs.
* Yesterday I felt like the worst daughter in the world, I was supposed to take my mother to the doctors and I let her talk me out of it because it was so hot today. I agreed, because I'd much rather be in airconditioning and playing WoW than driving in the heat in a car with no airconditioning. Unfortunately Mums car didn't make it all the way back, with a blue flame erupting from the bonnet and a complete loss of acceleration and power. Luckily noone was hurt, but my Mum was badly shaken and scared. My younger brother, Animal, arrived and helped as he was only a few minutes away. My father took the afternoon off work and all is well, but I can't shake the feeling that I should have been there. If I had we would have been in my car and it would never have happened.
Whew...small rant, thanks for hanging in there, I clearly needed to get that out.

Now surely is the time to look at the good things:

* King and I have a stable and cheap roof over our heads, living with his parents, which while it does restrict our 'fun', is very helpful and affordable for us right now.
* I have a gym membership - so why don't I use it? Motivation to exercise is a problem, and something I want to work on this year. By this years end, I will have lost the 25-30kgs that I really do need to loose.
* I have signed up to Goodreads on which I will be tracking the books I read this year. On that site I have joined one of the groups which aims for 50 books in a year. That should keep me focused on reading, rather than playing on the computer - hopefully.
* I am going to be studying again this year, finally, after talking about it for so long. I will be studying a short course on massage before June, and then in June I will start studying full time doing my Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice. That will be 3 days per week.
